As the only original coach on staff who has been with Top Tier Volleyball Club since its founding in 2021, Mike Scheuermann brings unmatched continuity, leadership, and experience to the program.

Mike’s competitive volleyball roots began at Roselle Catholic before he joined the NCAA Division III Men’s Volleyball program at Kean University in 2012, helping power the Cougars to multiple conference championships. His championship success carried directly into his coaching career: after a head coaching stint at St. Thomas Aquinas (formerly Bishop Ahr), Mike joined the powerhouse program at St. Joseph High School (Metuchen), contributing to multiple state championship runs.

Combining sharp tactical adaptability with strong administrative vision, Mike continues to serve as a foundational pillar in establishing Top Tier VC’s operational and instructional standard.
